The original stained glass paneled front door leads into the lounge with white painted board and beam ceiling, white painted rough granite walls and multi fuel stove set in a large fireplace.
A gothic style oak church door leads into the sitting/dining room with dining table facing a large raised fireplace incorporating an oil fired stove. Both reception rooms have windows overlooking the enclosed front garden with lawn and flowerbeds.
At the rear there is a well equipped farmhouse style kitchen with antique pine effect fitted units a tiled floor and stable door opening into an enclosed rear courtyard ideal for BBQs. Carpeted stairs lead up to the 3 bedrooms each with white painted walls and sloping ceilings. The two double bedrooms at the front have sea views across the farmland. The third bedroom at the rear has a sturdy metal framed bunk bed.
The family bathroom includes bath with hand shower attachment vanity basin and WC. The airing cupboard has a hot water tank and immersion heater.
Beyond the enclosed front garden there is a large level lawned second garden and a grass driveway with parking for up to 3 cars alongside.
Cottage Specifications
Rosemary Cottage is a traditional 18th century semi-detached cottage of great character and charm located in the small farming hamlet of Escalls near the cliffs above Sennen Cove.
With fine sea views from upstairs bedroom windows, it is within striking distance of the beautiful sandy beaches of Sennen Cove and Gwenver at Whitesand Bay.
The cottage, approached from farm lane off the A30 and the centre of Escalls, is entered via a gated pathway through a pretty front garden to front door which opens into a delightful garden room with casual table, bench and chairs.
